Rediscover your own backyard during the 12th annual Be a Tourist in Your Own Hometown celebration - hosted by the Fort Wayne/Allen County Convention and Visitors Bureau - on Sunday,
September 12th, from 12 noon - 5 pm.
On this day Fort Wayne residents with a Be a Tourist in Your Own Hometown passport will be able to visit 12 area attractions and museums - FOR FREE!
Passports provide free admission to 12 of Fort Wayne’s attractions, including the African/African-
American History Museum, Allen County Courthouse, Artlink, Embassy Theatre, Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory, Fort Wayne Museum of Art, Historic Fort Wayne, History Center, Science Central, The Lincoln Tower, Parkview Field, and the new Courtyard by Marriott!
Passport holders will receive free admission to these participating venues! Passports may be picked up at any Fort Wayne Scott's or Kroger location, and at the Convention and Visitors Bureau Visitors Center - located downtown at 1021 S. Calhoun Street.

West Central Neighborhood Association to host 28th Annual Home & Garden Tour!
The West Central Neighborhood Association (WCNA) presents the 28th Annual Home & Garden Tour & West Central ArtsFest September 11 and 12, 2010. The tour highlights historic homes and other buildings from the 19th and early 20th centuries to promote neighborhood revitalization and historic preservation. The tour runs both days from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. Tickets are $12 in advance and $14 on the days of the tour. Children age 12 and under are free. The ArtsFest is free both days.
